MathematicsThe Mathematics Department is situated at the corner of Gower Place and Gordon Street on the main College site. It occupies floors 5-8 above the Students’ Union and consists of lecture rooms, lecturers’ offices and the departmental office. There is also a student common room and a quiet room with a small student library. The Mathematics Department at UCL is an internationally renowned department within one of the world’s most prestigious universities. It has a research rating in the official UK league tables comparable with that of Oxford and Cambridge.
