Greek and Latin (F13)
Situated in the heart of London, the Department offers an unrivalled range of resources for the study of, and engagement with, the ancient world. It is a central part of our mission to foster interest in our discipline across the community: we are proud to offer a rich programme of events each year for academics, teachers, students at schools and colleges, and the public.
All our events are open to the public. Broadly speaking, they fall into two categories:academic conference and workshops, and events of more general interest designed for the non-specialist. There is generally a small charge for attending academic conferences: all other events are free. We are also happy to provide speakers for schools, colleges and community events.
We also run a series of events design specifically for schools and colleges: details of these events can be found on our dedicated schools web-page.
