As well as the endowment for the Simpson Smith lecture, the Simpson Smith family also endowed a fund for travelling fellowships. The intention of this fellowship is to enable a paediatric surgeon to travel to a centre where they will learn specialist techniques that they would then use at their own centre upon their return.
The fellowship will cover the cost of travel, accommodation and other reasonable costs up to a total of £5000.
If you wish to be considered for the Simpson Smith Travel Fellowship, please register by filling out the appropriate section on this booking page and then email Becky Smith (email@example.com) by Friday 24th November 2017 with your proposal, full CV and provisional letter of acceptance.
More information on the fellowship can be found here (link to page on ICH)
The registration fee for the 2017 meeting will be £150 for Consultants and £25 for trainees. It will cover the cost of coffee/tea/lunch/administration for the whole day. Payment will need to be made in advance either by cheque (made payable to 'University College London') by IDT (for UCL members only) or by credit/debit card on this booking page.
Payments can cover the contribution for all the participants from the same laboratory, but full names of all registrants must be provided. You are welcome to email Serife Dervish or Becky Smith expressing your interest in attending, but please note that registration is complete only upon payment.
