Description

SSLiC (Supporting Spoken Language in the Classroom) is a Knowledge Exchange whole school development programme to support pupils’ language use.

This Pilot Project will receive a day’s training to share the research themes and resources, including a unique school audit to assess provision across five domains.  On the final day, schools share their findings with other schools, building a wider school community and creating case studies that feed back into the research evidence cycle via co-created knowledge.

Day 1 is Friday 6th October 2017 and day 2 is Thursday 26th April 2018. SSLiC requires a minimum of two key staff members: one decision-maker on the Senior Leadership Team and one enthusiastic practitioner working with children at KS1.   Schools may bring up to 3 members of staff.
