Better Conversations Communication Partner Training for Acquired Neurological Conditions: How to do this in practice.

A clinical course for speech and language therapists to build practical skills in delivering communication partner training. Delivered by: Philippa Clay (UCL and speech and language therapist) and Claire Farrington-Douglas (Independent Speech and Language Therapist) who are both members of the Better Conversations team.

The first ever International Conference on Primary Progressive Aphasia: Advancing interdisciplinary PPA research and care.An international meeting focused on the nature and treatment of Primary Progressive Aphasia. We expect more than a hundred participants from institutions of higher education, medicine and healthcare to participate in this meeting.

The conference convenors: Dr Anna Volkmer (Associate Professor, UCL) and Dr Maya Henry (Associate Professor, University of Texas, Austin) are both looking forward to welcoming you to the first ICPPA.

Conference venue: The conference will be run as a hybrid event at The Henry Wellcome Auditorium, London, UK and online via zoom. This is the page for in-person bookings.

Lunch and refreshments on arrival/at breaktimes are included in the in-person registration.

A welcome reception on the first evening of the conference is also included in the conference fee.
