This will enable us to develop novel, minimally invasive surgeries and other medical interventions. Our workEach of our research areas has an interest in minimally invasive approaches, innovative technologies, and biomarkers of risk, for use in diagnosis and therapy. From bench to bedside, we are involved in the very earliest proof of concept studies within the laboratory, right through to large clinical trials on the hospital ward. G88 Medical Devices Medicine CPD DayDescriptionThis one-day course will share some of the latest thinking in medical device regulatory science and its impact on professional standards for physicians who regulate medical devices.
The course will include lectures on regulatory science topics, concepts in professional standards for physicians in non-clinical careers, and roundtable discussion. It aims to provide valuable CPD and generate a framework for more consistent CPD and professional standards for the future of medical device physicians. On this occasion the focus will be on software as a medical device.
