The Health Equity Network Fourth Annual National Conference will take place on 8 October 2026 in Newcastle, bringing together over 250 members and partners from across our 7,000-strong network. The event will be held at the centrally located Crowne Plaza Newcastle - Stephenson Quarter, which is working with us to offer discounted accommodation rates for attendees this year!

This year’s conference will focus on Marmot Principles 3 and 4: creating fair employment and good work for all, and ensuring a healthy standard of living for all. Building on the success of our previous events, the day will provide a focused, high-quality space to connect with peers, share practical learning, and explore how we can strengthen place-based action to address the social determinants of health. Attendees will hear from leading voices in the field, take part in informed discussion, and contribute to shaping the next phase of collective action.
