DescriptionOverview This module explores the role of the advanced cardiorespiratory physiotherapist, integrating skills and techniques, theoretical concepts, clinical reasoning and the evolving body of knowledge from current evidence. Evidence based practice is examined in the light of changing health care policies. It also explores the causes of cardiopulmonary dysfunction and implications of different pathological states to modifications in practice. Who this course is for You'll need to be a qualified physiotherapist, with a degree in physiotherapy at least equivalent to 2:2 BSc qualification in the UK. The course is made up of two week-long blocks of lectures and tutorials. It will run from 9 January to 19 January 2016. You can take it as: a standalone short course for CPD purposes (with certificate of attendance) a 'taster module' earning UCL credits
