More InformationThe course will be delivered through live sessions and will run for one-week. Live sessions will be held daily and materials for pre- and post-course reading will be available in the weeks prior to this using the UCL Extend platform. Learning will be supported through a combination of live webinars, small group tasks and discussion boards, all facilitated by world leading experts in the science and practice of behaviour change. Tasks and presentation content will draw on real-life scenarios/projects tailored to suit the interests of participants. Live sessions will be taught by experienced facilitators who will lead small group tutorials to embed and help participants apply the learning points of each day to their own situations. Mentor groups are also an opportunity for participants to have their personal objectives reviewed throughout the week as the course progresses. Participants will be encouraged to team up with a 'buddy' to provide support with applying theory to practice following the end of the course.
Participants will be invited to select a project that they will focus and work on throughout the week. The aim at the end of the course is for all participants to develop and leave with a personal plan for putting the course learning into practice. This course is highly participatory and requires a strong level of English language comprehension.
Please note this course is delivered live across multiple time zones. Sessions begin at 9am GMT. As this is an intensive course, participants are encouraged to devote the week to this course rather than combine it with their current role.
