DescriptionThis innovative eight session CPD programme (3 hours per week) is directed at Principal, Deputy/Assistant Principals, and experienced Senior EPs who wish to review and develop their leadership skills and understanding in the fast changing environments in which services find themselves. The programme provides structured input on current theories of leadership, group work which explores the ideas presented by these and opportunities to tackle here and now dilemmas faced by participants through reflecting team consultation. The programme features an overarching perspective of systems thinking. The programme is an approved UCL Educational Psychology Group CPD course and a certificate of attendance is issued for evidencing CPD requirements. Please note that there will be a maximum of two people from any one service on the programme. Participants are expected to commit to attending all eight sessions to facilitate effective group working.
