DescriptionThe UCL Queen Square Movement Disorders Centre is a research centre that translates discoveries in movement disorders into clinical benefit at UCL/UCLH. The centre harnesses our faculty of world-leading researchers and clinicians, supported by state of the art facilities and international collaborations to lead discovery research and experimental medicine programmes in order to make the next key breakthroughs for Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.
We are delighted to host our second symposium which will welcome a range of international and local speakers, in addition to UCL early career and senior clinical academics to discuss recent discoveries and promising pathways for a better understanding and treatment of movement disorders. Attendees will hear about developments across the translational research spectrum, from genetics, molecular and cellular biology, biomarkers, and epidemiology to experimental medicine. The symposium will provide a platform for the exchange of ideas between clinician and academics from different disciplines, highlight promising pathways for research translation, and facilitate new collaborations.
