300 audio recordings (around 600,000 words) aligned with transcriptions in the ICE-GB Corpus. A recommended addition for ICE-GB R2.

ICE-GB contains:

• One million words of spoken and written British English from the 1990s.
• Tagged, parsed and checked.
• Bundled with ICECUP 3.1 exploration software designed for parsed corpora.

This package contains the digitised speech recordings of the spoken part of the corpus, aligned with the text on a chunk-by-chunk basis. In conjunction with ICE-GB and ICECUP, the user can play back the original source of the transcribed text that they see on their screen.
