Course Description

This one-day course is designed for general dental practitioners with an interest in sports dentistry and who may treat athletes as patients. The aims of the course include:

 

• dealing with dental trauma both in surgery and at the sporting venue;
• designing a preventative approach for athletes;
• establishing the link between oral health and athletic performance;
• predicting what the future holds for sports dentistry.

 

As the only provider of sports dentistry CPD in the UK, this course is a unique opportuntiy for general dental practitioners to come together and explore this bespoke speciality.
