For those staying in London a little longer on Friday afternoon, we are pleased to offer an optional social activity: Afternoon Tea on the Thames. This 90‑minute river cruise will give you the chance to experience London from a different perspective while enjoying a quintessential British afternoon tea, accompanied by live commentary on the city’s landmarks.

Event details:
Date: Friday, 3rd July
Time: Boarding at 15:15. The cruise will depart promptly at 15:30 and finish at 17:30.

Location/Meeting Place: Tower Millennium Pier (adjacent to the Tower of London), approximately 18 minutes by Underground from the venue. Members of the organising team will accompany participants from KCL’s Bush House to Tower Millennium Pier.

Cost: £59 per person (including afternoon tea)
Dress code: Casual attire (e.g. khakis, smart jeans, dresses, button‑up shirts).
