This online course prepares advanced speakers of two languages to work as interpreters in the healthcare sector. The course meets the expectations set by the UK National Register of Public Service Interpreting (NRPSI), which certifies the ability to practise as a healthcare interpreter and is widely recognised internationally. Upon completion, you will also be able to sit NRPSI examinations and their equivalent to further raise your profile. The course focuses on core skills such as dialogue interpreting, terminology/glossary management, consecutive interpreting, simultaneous interpreting, sight translation, and remote interpreting.

The course is offered in several language combinations each year. It includes 20 hours of tutor-led training and is supported by extra online training materials. The course only runs when we have more than 12 participants.
