Description

This comprehensive 3-day course focuses on the pathophysiology and clinical management of electrolyte and acid-base disorders, hypertension, and fluid management. It refreshes key principles of renal physiology while introducing recent advances in a user-friendly way.

The course includes lectures, case discussions, and workshops aimed at the clinician in how to manage complex issues such as hyponatraemia, metabolic acidosis, dyskalemias, and other fluid/electrolyte imbalances. Additionally, it covers the physiological principles behind IV fluid replacement.
