In England and Wales, recent reforms allow courts to compel parties to mediate, making mediation expertise more essential than ever. The Singapore Convention, now in force, is transforming international mediation by standardising enforcement mechanisms, further underscoring the importance of understanding how mediation intersects with arbitration.
